Spring Island

Project Description

Spring Island is a private residential island community located on a 3,200-acre island in the heart of South Carolina’s fabled Lowcountry shared by only 400 fortunate families. Family compounds, weekend retreats and cottages and large acreage properties are nestled into a landscape of unspoiled preserves, undiscovered inlets, wide deepwater frontage and majestic Live Oak Forests. Steeped in history dating back to the 1700’s, it’s a community that honors its legacy through maintaining the South’s largest standing Tabby Ruins, growing indigenous Sweetgrass and donating it to the Lowcountry’s famed artisans, running a thriving farm and minimally impacting this historic island so it remains as it is for generations to come..
